Ajay Bhatt made many other technological advancements outside of the USB, he holds 132 patents in the U.S. and internationally. He got a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1980 at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. and later his master’s at the City College of New York. Ajay Bhatt and his team worked together to create the Universal Serial Bus (USB), because he disliked the incompatibility of existing connection standards.
